Electricity is shiny, right?
We have experienced what the news has referred to as "snowmageddon" the past few days. 10-14 inches of snow, covered in freezing rain and then some more snow on top of that and then more freezing rain.
Cars have been crashing, trees have been toppling and the power has been out for DAYS. Luckily ours was out for one night, then came back on, then went off again during the night and came back on in the morning. Whew!
Now the snow is beginning to melt and we are having a wind storm. My fingers are crossed that our power stays on through all of this. You never realize how much we rely on that shiny electricity until there is none to be had!
